 Eva’s Ocean
You'll be sailin' through this project and end up with beautiful colors flowing on a calm sea. This quilt
combines the traditional block "Ocean Wave" with a Timeless Treasures Tonga Treats color palette of
beautiful batiks - the shop sample is made from the color selection "Pomegranate", although any will work
- the new Fall colors are fabulous. In this class we'll sort our fabrics twice to organize the colors in a way
that is very easy to get fantastic results. With precut fabrics, Timeless Treasures will do much of the
cutting for you - the quilt requires both a Tonga Treats 2 1/2" strip set and a matching Tonga Treats 10" square set. The sample quilt measures 60" x 72" with the borders.

class - starting with choosing coordinating fabric and ending with getting a pattern for the feathered
machine quilting.

 Simplicity
Don’t let the simplicity of this quilt design fool you - - there’s plenty to be learned here! Susie designed
this project to be a practical application of many of the “things” she preaches about. This design is great
for using some of the new large prints and directional fabrics that we love but don’t always know what to
do with and it only takes about a half yard of several fabrics plus a border and some sashing fabric to put
this one together.
